The Live Smoke Free Team Shares, Connects, and Learns at the 2022 National Conference on Tobacco or Health

During the last week of June 2022, Live Smoke Free’s small but mighty team traveled to New Orleans, Louisiana to share and learn at the National Conference on Tobacco or Health (NCTOH). NCTOH is the premier gathering of the United States tobacco control movement and Live Smoke Free was proud to share lessons learned, connect with other smoke-free housing advocates, and learn from peers nationwide.

Ancillary Lunch Gathering of Smoke-Free Housing Advocates

Live Smoke Free teamed up with the Public Health Law Center to host an ancillary lunch gathering for smoke-free housing advocates at the conference. Leaders from national organizations, government, local/state public health, and community organizations came together to discuss current issues in smoke-free housing including support for public policies and the intersection of cannabis and smoke-free policies.

This national conversation gave smoke-free housing advocates an opportunity to share innovative strategies, collaborate, and learn from one another to keep the momentum for smoke-free housing strong across the country.
