Program Description / Services
The program provides technical assistance (education, resources, etc.) to local health departments, property management companies, owners, and managers in promoting, implementing and maintaining smoke-free policies in multiple housing units. “Good Health Is Good Business, A landlord’s guide to increasing revenue by adopting smoke-free policies” explains the benefits of smoke-free housing and assists with policy development. The program also provides information and guidance to residents of multi-unit housing who have issues with drifting tobacco smoke. Additionally, the program has online resources that are geared towards residents as well as property managers and owners.
