Program Description / Services
We provide technical assistance for property managers and property owners interested in smoke free housing. The Live Tobacco Free Austin program is a voluntary effort to lessen the societal burden of tobacco on our community, and provides information on cessation resources, health effects, and facts for tobacco-free workplaces and living places. Our technical assistance begins with property consultations and surveys, timeline scheduling, drafting appropriate policies and culminates with marketing ideas. Multi-unit housing owners/managers who go smoke free or tobacco-free are able to utilize our apartment locator webpage to advertise their property.
