Program Description / Services
Tobacco-Free CNY works to reduce illness, disability and death related to tobacco use and secondhand smoke exposure through policy change, community engagement and youth empowerment. Tobacco-Free CNY’s smoke-free housing initiative focuses on community outreach, educating landlords/managers and tenants on the benefits of smoke-free housing, providing technical assistance with policy creation and implementation and supplying resources to both tenants and landlords/managers during the transition to smoke-free living.
Tobacco-Free CNY works with all types of multi-unit housing; specifically with a focus on low-income residents.
